Just got off the phone with customer service simply to change the address on file. I am the caregiver and power of attorney for my 89 year old grandmother with dementia. I jumped through all of their hoops 3 years ago,when I moved her in with me, in order to have them speak with me. That was when they were Great Western. As is the problem with most carriers, you cannot get ahold of anyone to properly provide claim assistance. The website states the claim isn't on file. The automated phone service says it's on file but doesn't provide processing details. Waiting on hold for over one hour now. Hire more people! Not everything can be handled by a bleeping computer!
My husband and I each took out cancer and hospital indemnity policies with Wellabe in October of 2025. My husband was diagnosed with cancer November 2,2025, I called and informed them of the diagnosis so they cancelled his cancer policy and sent back the premium for that. I sent in a claim for an outpatient surgery for Oct 30,2025 which was not approved, I sent in a claim for a visit to the emergency room oct 25, which was not approved, I turned in another claim for November 12.
