Dr. Shawna Green and Medicine River Animal Hospital have been caring for our mini dachshund, Moby, for over a decade. Our “fur baby” is a (now deaf) senior dog with a heart murmur. After a recent visit and follow up phone calls, Dr. Green helped identify an allergic reaction caused by exposure to a toxic plant and resolved a bacterial infection. I have been seeing Dr Green for years now, and even after she moved much further away, we make the drive because we trust Medicine River with all our furry children!
For 10 years my dog Roxy was seen by Dr. Green and her staff. I would trust no other team to watch over her, so much so that when she moved three times I was right there because her knowledge and passion is worth the drive. In Roxy's final days I truly have to thank the staff for being patience enough to put up with a grown man crying over the phone and in their waiting room. Helped my puppy get better even with me on a tight budget. Now she is healthy for the first time in her 6 months of life. Also let me come in without a appointment very close to closing time when my cat got her eye scratched. They always answer any questions I need. Truly care about animals.
I have been taking my pets to Dr. Green for 15 years. There is no one else I would trust to care for them. Dr. Green and her staff (especially Gaye and Jill) have always gone above and beyond what is expected. I can't say enough good things about them and the level of care they provide to the animals entrusted to them. I highly recommend Medicine River Animal Hospital.
I can't begin to say how much I respect Shawna and her staff- not only is she an absolutely gifted vet, but they care! When you are going through a difficult time with a pet, you need comfort - understanding- even if you're being a bit crazy bc you're scared! This is the place!! Love them!!!
