Last summer, my husband went in for his annual checkup after his longtime physician retired. He scheduled with Dr. Moss. Im doing this review for my father law J.D. I was just shocked speechless at the disdain and near scathing tone Moss took with my FIL. He only scribbled, barely legible, what my FIL said to him. Repeating what he said is that horrible tone of voice. He never asked my FIL any questions to try to figure out what was causing his symptoms. I have been a patient of Dr. Moss for several years. He is fantastic in my opinion. He listens and then explains in detail medical issues. He also is quick to discourage medical notions that are untrue. I think he thinks an ill-informed patient is more dangerous than an uninformed patient. Know-it-alls won't like him, but I very much do. He also believes in God, which turns some off. I am an older man and I appreciate a very knowledge person when I meet one.
I last saw him nearly ten years ago, and I trust doctors less because of him. I STILL remember the burning humiliation as he demanded a drug test (for marijuana????) to prescribe Adderall (which, I've had a diagnostic history of ADHD since I was five), and told me I should exercise more when I presented with fatigue and exhaustion (I averaged 12k steps a day and had the data to back it up). You have to pick a doctor now to get seen I guess, and I just needed to be seen as soon as possible-which is an option on the website by the way, just not over the phone. Called next dr office and they were able to not only do “next available dr” but then they gave me a small brief about that dr so I knew what I was getting into
