I just want to say a big THANK YOU to Desiree, answering the phones and handling business on the Lab's front desk, and to my West Indian sister (I heard that accent, even though it might not be from MY yard ) who did my blood work today with such speed and efficiency. They got me in there, with my documents, and off to my appointment in Fredericksburg in plenty of time to BE on time...with my results already in the system when I got there an hour later. I had a Tilt Table Test yesterday, and the staff were amazing! Andrea, Amanda, and another nurse worked together to get my IV going because my veins don't like to cooperate, and they were very considerate of my comfort and not wanting to poke me more than necessary. Then the NP over seeing the test, Shawn, was so kind and empathetic. As someone who has a great deal of medical trauma, they made me feel safe, in control, and cared for. Amazing staff!! Thank you all so much!

Awful. Went in and had nobody ahead of me. The people at the front desk said “we don’t work this deal but the person who does will be back soon”. After waiting 10 minutes I asked if the front desk person was coming soon, and showed up soon after. She said the phlebotomist had someone back already but I’d be next and they were almost done. 15 minutes later still nothing. I inquire and the desk employee says “I don’t know what’s taking so long” but didn’t offer to check? Weird. Waited 5 more minutes and left. I’ve never had is... read more
