I called to reschedule my appointment for next week because I can't make due to work. I thought this would be quick and easy but the lady on the phone was rude. I was not expecting a question as to "why" I am cancelling my appointment. I told her it was none of her business and she came back with a blunt "fine". I will go back to the university of penn where they are more respectful.

I do not understand why the hospital has to "sub-contract" this function [billing] to a 3rd party. It is more paperwork and extra billing to pay. They send me bills before the insurance claims are complete and finalized. I am supposed to trust them for how much balance is owed. They are ALL about the money, medical care is secondary.
