I had an MRI in August and paid my bill in September, with a e-receipt to go along with it. They have now sent my bill to collections and I am getting hounded to pay the same amount, without ever being contacted about a payment issue.
Went for an X-ray in January and was just called for collections end of July for the “reading” fee which I was NEVER told about, nor was informed I’d have a second bill coming. Never got a statement from them, nor a call. They gave me the dates that statements were supposedly sent out and was told they usually call a couple days after the second statement - couldn’t give me a date. the custermer service rep,for billing sucked ,she dinged my credit because I was making payments,and didn't pay in full, then sent me to collections... and I only had 2 payments left.
