First time in 6 years of dealing with this that I came away not feeling like a drug addict, or med seeker. I felt heard. Will see how things go. So far it has been amazing. I try to educate myself about what is going on with the source of pain and will always participate actively in my treatment. There are drawbacks due only to distance and travel time. It has been worth it. It is validating to hear someone say you have a lot of reasons to have the level of pain you have. That helps.
