Today I brought my daughter into her 9:30 am appointment. I was told it wasn’t until 12:30 so I provided proof that I had of the confirmed appointment. After waiting a hour we were seen. I had the worst experience where I cried in the car. I was talked to so rudely for no reason. Throughout the appointment I remained respectful. I looked at my daughter and I can see it bothered her . Excellent doctors and staff. Friendly yet efficient. Have a lot of confidence working with them.
They may have good doctors but their time management is terrible. Been here for two hours after scheduled time and still haven’t seen the doctor. Receptionist are as slow as molasses in January.
Unethical practices!!! Be sure to say that you want NO student or resident participation in your care! This is the only way to protect yourself. I was told prior to surgery there was a resident anesthesiologist. An anesthesiologist said they would be there supervising the whole time. I said fine. I signed the consent form. I woke up during surgery to my Dr operating on my right eye and a resident operating on my left eye. I asked what was going on, who they were, said it was not ok, stop! They get one star because the doctors I have seen are typically good and know what they are talking about. However, I have never gone to an appointment and seen the doctor less than an hour after my actual appointment time. If my appointment is 3:30, I know I will not be seen until 4:30 at the earliest! I don’t know if they overbook, or if the staff is incompetent, or if they are just understaffed but it is ridiculous. As I’m writing this review, I have been here for 2.5 hours and still not seen my ophthalmologist.
