Stay clear of this place!!!! The place is fifthly, the staff rude and is run by greedy uncaring people: At check-in for my procedure, I was told that my deductible was not met and I must pay that plus another amount on top of that. As I advised the their billing department, that everything needs to be billed through my insurance in order for my HSA to pay it and so we do not get double billed and then have to request a refund. $57k billed to my insurance company for a 1hr 40 minute hospital stay. I guess they probably billed $4700 for that one cough drop, and $14.5k for the follow up call to see how I’m feeling. This is criminal and should be investigated. I cannot fathom nor could they justify this to any reasonable person. Greed is the only explanation I can come up with. This is why our insurance rates are so high. Medical City should be ashamed.
Insurance dept is ridiculous! No call back … No help!!! I need to know what our portion will be BEFORE we drive all the way out there & find out we can’t afford it!!!!!
