If I could give zero stars I would. Legitimately the worst care (or lack of is more like it) I've experienced.
Roaches. They will tell you one date to be released then change it. Hippa violation I was given another patients medication printout that was different from mine. Bed checks every 15 minutes for a csa survivor is messed up, I get why they do it but some warning would have been nice. I was put on the unit and only learned how things work from other patients not the staff. Blood work is drawn at tables where patients eat, play cards, do puzzles, color and do groups. You can’t get anyone to answer the phone and they do not return calls.
Staff here were great and supportive. Facility is clean and well-kept. Was disappointed in the management of my type 1 diabetes by the physician staff while here (no insulin for carbohydrates), but kitchen staff was very accommodating to my dietary needs.
It is a really nice setup inside, and its clean. I thought the Drs, NPs werent as helpful and didnt want to talk with the family about treatment and were making decisions without family input, and if I wasnt involved I dont know what they would have done and they barely listened to me, but it seemed to be better than other facilities in DFW as far as not experimenting with multiple meds back to back at least.
