You get back fast, but then they do triage and place you in waiting room where they administer treatment. I was there for 4 hours. Not concerned about patient privacy. Dr came to me in waiting room full of people discussing my results.

After previously being "treated" at Baylor Hospital with such a lack of care, it was quite a relief to receive a completely 360 of an experience from a Medical City ER. I spent 7 minutes waiting instead of 2 1/2 hrs. The nurses and doctors were actually prompt and attentive to me. I was listened to about my symptoms and they took the proper steps to find out what my issues were. They got me on fluids, took blood tests, and even a CAT scan. My wife went to get tested for the flu. She did not have the flu and they release her without any treatment. They would not give us any cost information at the time of the visit, but the bill came one month later. $1,612.00 !!!!! Outrageous - if they had given us any idea it would be that expensive we would never have used them.
