Dr. Jason Burns did my surgery and he did a fabulous job and now he follows me. The wait time is fine at the location I go to, but at the medical center it can get lengthy.
Wife had cataract surgery on one eye by office in Del Rio. Everything seemed ok till the end and she tried to order glasses. The person fitting her glasses tried to charge us $500 even though my wifes insurance covers eyewear after cataract surgery. The woman made no effort to research my wifes policy and had a take it or leave it attitude. Of course we left it. I was extremely disappointed with my visit. I had a 2:40 PM appointment for my six month old. I got there and was greeted. The facility seemed nice and they had coffee available for the patients... which now I understand why since you spend you're whole day here waiting! I spent a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes waiting. With only 10 minutes with either the assistant or doctor. Ran in for my appt with bulging red eyes & not :"a clue "as to why. Dr. Evans spoke very softly & slowly. Kept me calm & explained what he was doing and what outcome would be good or bad. Even when he ran out of ideas and still no answers, I was still calm and asked what else we should try? He gave me a list of things I needed to get done and we exchanged cell numbers. We kept in touch through it all. After 4 days with slow progression he kept in touch promising to do his best at making sure my eye problem does not get worse... read more
MCOA is a great place! Staff and doctors are very intelligent, helpful, and friendly. I had my LASIK done by Dr. Jason Burns, and I am so happy! I've seen other doctors here over the years and have always been satisfied. I recommended this place to all my friends and family
