I am currently involved in a dispute with Medical Center of Trinity concerning their charges for drugs they administered to me for my one night stay. They have improperly coded the medications as self-administrated and are charging me for $ 1,400 for two puffs on a nasal inhaler that I take daily. My normal co-pay is $ 70 for a 3 month supply. staff were very nice, but i don't think anyone can read that worked the other night when i went to the er, i went in for severe leg pain due to a fall, my right leg is already bad and very weak so i do have prescriptions and i always take all of my prescriptions with me so that they know what all i am taking...1st off, the nurse brought me a 600mg ibuprofen..um, i have 800mg ibuprofen prescrition so why give me a lower dose of something i am already taking, very stupid, don't work...they then gave me something stronger...the... read more
Shouldn't even get a one from me. This is the second time I've had bad experience there, first off I'm sick of being treated like I'm scum cause I don't have insurance, why does it bother you. I'm the one that's getting fined for it so it's not like your not getting my money some how! The ER is a horrible place to be. No compassion at all. Everybody is in there own little world. The practitioner doctor it is a completely retarded woman. She needs to work in a rodeo. This lady tells me that I had a kidney stone, when that stone was blasted a month.Then she gave me a strong pain killer and got discharged, when I was alone. Nobody ask me if a had a ride or company. HORRIBLE!!!
The best hospital in our area. You could never find more outstanding nursing care ! Rooms are so restful love all private rooms. The peaceful atmosphere certainly hastens recovery.
Very disappointed in the ER tonight, my wife and I came in tonight because she had chest pains and we where made to wait over 2 hours before she was called back into the ER. As we where walking outside to call paramedics to take her to a medical facility that will take her chest pains seriously. Not to mention we had stated to the staff numerous times she has a preexisting heart condition and has had heart surgery. This will be the LAST TIME we come to this facility for any kind of medical reason.
I like all hospitals. I've been in must psych units. They treat patients very nice & Drs too. There not psych hospitals anymore. They close them did give 3 mons.meds & "GO AWAY". All patients are out!. Poss. next to you in a park, in a church ... etc. (PS: Psych patient are also very nice. Free of physical illness just ... emotional disturbed.)
Don't go here for pediatric emergencies. My 10 year olds primary physician told us to take her to the ER for extended inability to keep food or liquid. Trinity ER doctor did only a blood sugar test and sent her back home. She was admitted the next day to Countryside hospital severely dehydrated and jaundiced with hepatitis. I won't be using any further services of Medical Center of Trinity.
