Dr. Dodd is an Oregon native, born and raised in Canby. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 1997, he spent time in Eugene working as an ophthalmic technician. Dr. Dodd has a passion for donating his time and talents, and was fortunate to participate in two overseas eye missions to Thailand in 2000 and 2006. I was seen here by an ophthalmologist who had "come out of retirement". He didn't bother to take ten seconds to review my health history which details auto immune diseases. He totally disregarded my eye pain, vision loss, floaters and swelling claiming I had "early onset cataracts" which ended up being bs! I'm only 46yo! I finally got into see an eye surgeon who immediately recognized I have "thyroid eye disease" Aka "TED" and ordered a CT scan and extensive lab work. I am a caregiver for my spouse who has severe memory loss. I was trying to explain the situation to the oriental doctor and he was very rude. Very chauvinistic. Personally I would never go back and he didn't help at all, offered no explanations.

Dr. East is thorough, kind, smart! Can't ask for anything more!
The staff are awesome, my appts always go smoothly, and the glasses I picked are great as well!
