Went for test if it had a kidney stone. Staff was great, fast and friendly
Came in for something minor to be checked. NP who assisted scared me in to going over to the ER to get all these tests done. Never confirming that it was optional or not. Told me “we wouldn’t want to send you home and you not wake up the next day”. Leading me to think that if I did not go over and run the tests that I would die. I was very disappointed in the care I received. Dr Shafer continuously told me she doesn’t know. After getting labs, I was in extreme amount of pain, with tears in my eyes she decided to raise her voice at me after repeating multiple times i don’t know, your blood work is fine, your kidney is fine. I told her I was in a lot of pain and she just said well go to the ER then. After that she said she would put the prescription in to my pharmacy and left the room. They told my daughter they were in network but they are not. They then refused to amend the bill.
Great experience. Got in immediately on a Tuesday at 1pm to acute care. Receptionists and nurses were great. Dr. Russo was great. Did a thorough evaluation. Knew what I had. What was needed. Checked to make sure of any allergies which is a big deal to me. I've had a nurse practitioner give me the wrong medicine before. Highly recommended.
