The course was educational and eye opening. As an attorney it was nice to be reminded that we can actually work to get to the "heart" of a dispute and come to a deeper resolution and not simply and a written agreement. The course is taught in small groups in their lovely home and with great food. The basic mediation course was very thorough with numerous role playing exercises, with observation and feed back from experienced mediators.
Great seminar to learn the process of mediation combined with simulations to put the skills into practice. For lawyers, the process of mediation is a change , but the teaching is interesting and it is invaluable to do role play and get feedback from him and the others. The 40 hours went quickly- lovely setting, great food, and great learning experience.
Divorce mediation with Carl and Audrey was like packing in a year's worth of therapy in just a few days.
Lunch was fabulous! ...The humanistic emphasis is what I think sets the training apart from a business process. The training focuses on understanding relationship dynamics which is essential to resolving conflict and gaining consensus. I highly recommend this training!
The Divorce Meditation training that I attended in June 2016 was informative, practical, comprehensive and educational. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent learning from Carl and Audrey, interacting with the group, and the role playing was invaluable. I left the training with the tools and confidence that I need to start my mediation practice. I will recommend Mediation Matters to anyone in need of mediation training.

The information was presented in a thorough and easily-understandable manner. The relaxed format made role playing, asking questions, and engaging in discussion effortless. Carl and Audrey's years of experience are invaluable, and their ability to convey information in an efficient yet helpful manner was crucial to the impact of the class.
