I implemented and administered MediaLab at a large lab in a hospital system with over 700 beds and loved it. It is a growing company but the list of major health systems using it is impressive. It seems some of the reviews on here are very suspicious and may be directed at another company. I am planning on getting my document control at my current employer on it as soon as possible.
The application is very functional and user friendly but the support specialist and implementation specialist do NOT know the product or troubleshooting or root cause finding AT ALL. It is so frustrating to have to babysit them through every issue or request.
If you call the hotline an automated message informs you “thank you for calling media lab, we’re sorry that you’ve attempted to reach us outside of our normal business hours” please call again or send a complaint through the form section. The website has hours of operation from 10:00 AM until 06:00 PM Eastern (GA, USA) an no one answers the phone or has fixed the hotline issues since my last support call attempts, where I mentioned the phone lines must be broken. Document control app is ok, would give that 3 stars. BUT... The IQE app has horrible loading times and times out frequently. Just signing into the website is impossible at times. Was down for over 4 hours tonight, not the first time by any means. Tech support can never reproduce the errors and asks for screenshots which have been supplied so they obviously can't read an email.
