It goes down seemingly every day now. There are too many people paying for it for the service to be this downright horrible. Find a different provider for really everything.
Said they would be open from 10- 2, so I could return my Internet box on a Saturday however after driving 40 minutes to get there it was closed. I switched providers because they were charging me 140 a month +box rental fee. Switched to better company that ran fiber Internet to my house, with free install. And new company is less than 70 a month. Way more satisfied with the new company. Mediacom company is trash. So far so good...an error on their part on billing ...we called it to their attention and so far they have been very helpful and responsive.
Probably the worst internet experience I've ever had. From signing up they put the wrong, non-existent apartment number since for whatever reason my number wasn't in the system. This caused so many downstream effects from having to call to get the apartment number corrected, then not being able to login to pay bills since my account was inactive, (they just made a whole new account without my knowledge), to not being able to register the new account with my email since that email was tied to the now inactive account.
