I had an excellent experience with Mediacom. A special thank you to Jerry for making sure my issue was taken care of so quickly. He went above and beyond to help me. Also, a huge thank you to Elijah (I believe that was my technician’s name). He was professional, knowledgeable, and had an outstanding attitude throughout the entire visit. It should get zero stars. Not only is it horrible internet providing, the execution of basic business is abhorrent. We used them for vacation rentals, we were on autopayment; they didnt process the payment for no reason, didnt contact us, discontinued service and we couldnt get them to restore it after spending literally almost 2hrs with customer service. Update: as my County doesn’t offer any other Internet providers to choose from other than DSL CenturyLink. I returned back to Mediacom Wednesday as I was working from home. I had Internet. I get a message saying they’re doing maintenance 2 PM. I lose Internet 5 PM. I get a message saying that maintenance is done. I still don’t have Internet. If I could give zero stars, I would in a heartbeat they are at the absolute worst. Been a customer for 18 years, constantly dealing with maintenance issues and outages in our area. Most recent three days ago Internet went out, every time I’ve called Mediacom, which has been multiple times , they have no answers They continue to say they show no outages in the area.
