I am leaving a review for Yason, who came up from Joplin to help out in Springfield. I was very impressed with how helpful and knowledgeable Yason was when fixing our lousy connection. He fixed at least 4 problems. That was after I had made 3-4 phone calls to Mediacom that were no help at all. He could have skipped out after fixing one or even two problems, but he stuck it out and kept looking for what could make it even better. Yason is a man of integrity. He deserves a raise! Thank you, Yason, from Walnut St.!
Do not use Mediacom. Waste of time. Way overpriced. Never works. Called because my internet is out for at least the 30th time this year. Was told I wasn’t going to get it fixed for a full week. I will be switching my service. Do not waste your time on this awful company.

If I had any practical option, I would not choose Mediacom. You will pay more than the advertised price. The service is okay when it is working but when it goes down it always takes many service 'visits' to get it working reliably again. The worst part is all the little fees that get tacked onto your bill. Last summer I agreed to 70 dollars a month for 600 mbps internet and have never paid less than 90 a month since then.
