Mediacom sucks if you live near warm springs road. Don’t get it. I have had several outages. More than I can count. The summer time is the worst. The price goes up every year by 30+ dollars. The phone service computer lady sucks. Get spectrum or tfiber instead.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I have had 5 no call no shows for appointments set up to install internet at my home. 5 times no calls and just won’t show up. I call back and get told “sorry we couldn’t get out there” and “we promise we will be back tomorrow”. Every time I call in I get the run around and no one will take responsibility. If you want customer service, and to not do business with people who are comfortable lying consistently to you, use any other provider. Just bad people.
This is worst than WOW so that should tell you how bad this company is. They shut down service for days at a time during peak hours. It is 2026, most people work from home! Over the past 3 days I have missed almost 10 hours of work. I have spoken with 9, yes NINE people regarding this. The only and I mean ONLY person that actually had a willingness to help was Sharon. Did not get Technicians name but he came out 4/23/26. He resolved our problem with professionalism and was very courteous. He was a real asset for mediacom.
