I was seen on 8/08/21 for a sliced/cut thumb by a PA. Was told I needed ten stitches. Then 20 minutes later. I was told the "18 hour window" closed for stitches and surgical glue was needed. {15 hours had lapse} My PCP ended up stitching my thumb and couldn't believe what the MedExpress PA stated {he never heard of a 18 hour window, prohibiting stitches} and the crisscrossed tape/bandaged used, with no signs of surgical glue!
