I was very satisfied with their service when my mom passed. We live in Oregon. Her body was held temporarily at a local mortuary. Medcure transported her in a few days after I contacted them. They were very friendly, and explained the entire process. They returned her ashes in two months. All at no cost.

This week my mom was put on hospice, her wishes were to donate her body to science. We started the process on Monday and we've dealt with multiple rude and snarky employees. We thought we got it all sqaured away and ready to go for when she officially passed. When my father did pass, we did get a call back within an hour, however 15 minutes later they called back stating they could not pick up the body, and informed us we had to make other arrangement. My advice - if you want to d... read more

My dad had signed up for medcure years ago. It was his wish not to put a burden on anyone, and he constantly reminded us to be sure to do that for him. When he passed 2 weeks ago, I called medcure and was told they don't take bodies from this area any longer. We are in NH. They went to let me know that they once had a place in Rhode Island buy it closed during covid, so that is why they could take his body. I feel that people should have been notified when that happened so they could make other arrangements. What my dad thou... read more
