Extremely unprofessional. My husband went in for a gout flare once and they wouldn’t give him a doctors excuse for work. Most recently he went and specifically requested ibuprofen at the appt. They completely ignored him and prescribed the medicine that he told them lowers his immune system. When we called about this mixup the nurse “Myeisha” argued with us for 5 minutes on the phone about what “she was told” during the appt only for it to end up that he would have to come back in. You dont see the doctor. Staff is rude and look like they dont want to be there. There was one nice new CMA, she can do better than MedCare. They put a psych referral in to my potential practicum site, after I told Parthenia not to. She made it clear they are not there for your mental health. Negatively impacts overall health.
Pathetic. Dr. Mecca treated me for years while growing up for regular issues like ear infections and cold/flu symptoms. As an adult, I scheduled a visit before I had an established PCP only to hear the doctor treating me tell his colleague my symptoms "were BS" outside of the room I was being seen in, then came back in like nothing was wrong. It was obvious he thought I didn't hear him. I was in college and just getting established on my own insurance plan, so I didn't speak up, but I should have. I get that doctors probably... read more
