The company I work for uses Medben for health insurance. I’ve been with them for about 19 years. About 6 months ago my daughter was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and with it an abscess in her intestines. She has been hospitalized twice for the abscess which is caused by the Crohn’s. She sees two specialists, a Gastroenterologist and an Infectious Disease doctor. Doesn’t pay out of HRA account that company gives money for towards deductible, with out written permission. Wasn’t notified about this till after it was to late. Yes MedBen I want to pay additional money out of pocket and not use money set aside to help cover medical cost says no one ever. This is ridiculous. The company I worked at before the money automatically came out to pay. To submit a form to cover additional cost is just a way for medben does get out of covering bills. Thanks for sticking me with a medical bill.
Why won't you cover or partially pay for my daughters glucagon pen? And... why will you only cover 2 months of pump supplies? she has Type 1 Diabetes!!!! These are LIFESAVING medications for her!!!!!!

Pay the bills. You say that after your deductible is met everything is covered 100%. Not true I have a 19,000 bill that I'M getting billed for, that the hospital would not accept your payment as full.
I needed surgery to remove my uvula. It was obstructing my BREATHING and I gag on it during the day. I was denied to have this procedure done in a hospital. Because the word “snoring” kept coming up. It had nothing to do with snoring and this was NOT cosmetic. Also, it was not for “social” reasons. I could care less about snoring. I live alone with my dog! I just had my uvula removed in a doctor’s office. It was horrifying. Extremely painful. No one should have to suffer like I just did.
