I took out a loan to pay for windows and was told that I could pay off the entire amount on the first statement and would not acquire interest. I did pay the entire amount online before the due date. Next month, I get a statement which showed interest accrued. I called to question and was told that the loan starts acquiring daily interest from the first day of the loan even though I paid it before the due date, and that I should have requested a pay off amount.. Medallion Bank are a bunch of scam artist. I am in good standing with my account and after about 2 or three days after my due date during which I pay within the grace ****** always, I get scam calls from Medallion pretending to be them. They then leave a number to call to try to get you to pay for a scam. Somehow these scam artist know when my account is overdue and they call me which is a breach of PII. I call Medallion and they have done nothing to help me.

Purchase a camper in October 2023. Medallion took the title and registration fee and said they would send everything to the town office and all we would need to do is sign. Well its 8 months later and they still havent sent anything to the town office. I call them very month. Finally at the beginning of last month they said they needed to town office address. Worst experience ever! Since January, when I purchased the **** I have received countless amounts of calls about my account being delinquent! Which it has not been! I have sent screen shots and emails regarding this matter, even had a certified letter sent stating I was behind! I have never missed a payment or been late but yet I'm paying late fees? I've called many tines and spoken to countless reps who always say my account is in good standings. Yet I'm still being harassed! Don't waste your time with this company!

I am a recent victim of identity theft. At least 7 lending institutions, including Medallion Bank of ****, were contacted by the fraudsters via online applications for credit using my personal information including my SSN. 6 of the 7 institutions are working with me to re-establish my very good credit and help me by providing information (IP address etc.) of the fraudsters. This bank is crooked. I made every loan payment automatically ontime for about 5 years then asked if I could skip one payment and have it put on the end of my loan term which they said I could on the phone. They assured me it wouldn't be considered late and I wouldn't be penalized for it. 2 months later and I have been charged late fees of $6 and my payments now are showing that the total payment is going to interest only and zero towards the principle. I have worked with Medallion and their indirect lending team for many years. The people there are always pleasant to work with. Their RV lending program helps many customers that *** not otherwise qualify for an RV loan. They are very responsive and communicate quickly.
