I just witnessed a Medstar ambulance, unit 024, speed up to run a red light at the intersection of Spring Hill Drive and Infirmary Drive in Mobile. To be clear, this was NOT an emergency, their lights were NOT on, they did it just because. The light was fully red for at least 2 seconds when they flew through the intersection. Extremely negligent and dangerous driving. August 8, 2024.

This Ambulance Service does not have a contract with BCBS of Alabama (State Employee’s Insurance). They are considered “out of network.” Since they were out of network, my bill was not the $118.68 it should have been if they had a contract—rather they billed me for 1,232.87!!!!!!!!!!’nn

If this is the wrong Medstar, I will gladly take it down. My daughters and I were in a car accident Friday night in Bay Minette caused by a gentleman driving in the wrong direction on the highway. If that’s not traumatic enough, my 14 year old daughter was treated terribly by the lady medic that was working our scene. Treated poorly, and never checked for injuries. Witnesses also commented on how rude she was to my daughter. My name is public, so I’m sure you can locate her name.

The unprofessional paramedic was VERY RUDE! My grandson had a seizure and needed to be transported to Pensacola. This guy threw a fit and botched because is was time for him to go home.
