Did my bloodwork here several times since they’ve opened. At first, they were flawless; fast appointments, quick & easy, and free parking. The latest visit had a young gentleman at the front desk, maybe he is new but communication was a bit difficult and confusing. Then, my fiancé went first and she got poked 3 times with no results, they couldn’t find her vein. This really upset her and made the experience uncomfortable. Had an appointment for blood work today. The staff was friendly; however, I unfortunately spent a long time while they tried to find my veins, after several pokes and tries, I was told my veins were difficult to locate. After almost an hour, I ended up leaving without having my blood drawn. I had also paid for a Vitamin D test, but their machine was experiencing an issue and they were unable to refund my payment. After this unpleasant experience, this will be the last time I return.
Absolutely ridiculous that there are hours posted on the door then they don’t post that they close from 12-1. That should be visible for all because I showed up at 11:45 and waited until 12 to be told I wouldn’t be seen. Do better and don’t waste my time since I also have to pay parking for absolutely nothing now
healthcare workers are required to change gloves and perform hand hygiene between different tasks, especially when moving from a "dirty" task (handling paperwork, health cards) to a "clean" one (handling sterile needles). This practice is essential for infection prevention and control. Be aware. Be vigilant, Speak up. It is the law. Contact public health Ontario if any clinic seems unsterile.
Extremely Unprofessional Experience I visited this clinic for routine blood work and arrived approximately 10 minutes into their break time. There were no signs or indications that they were on break, so I proceeded inside and took a seat. After handing over my documents, a lady who was working began assessing me.
