Nurse was rude, patronizing, and dismissive, especially when I had a genuine question. She acted like she hated her job and didn’t want to be there, chased me out as I was trying to ask my question even though they weren’t busy, and acted miserably, ultimately negatively affecting my entire experience there. I probably won’t be returning.
Avoid this place! My last visit was a complete disaster. A young woman took my blood, and it took her a full 10 minutes to draw it. The needle was in my arm the entire time, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when the doctor tried to review my results, they couldn't give me any answers because the bloodwork was done incorrectly. Terrible experience—definitely won't be coming back.
I had my blood work done at this laboratory on Friday, June 20th. What you see in the photo is the result of the procedure. I was left with severe bruising and pain. I wasn't able to move my hand, and couldn't even hold the steering wheel afterwards. The person who drew my blood was clearly not trained properly. The staff at Med-Health Labs in Newmarket have no business working in healthcare. I came in this morning for bloodwork and politely requested a butterfly needle. A basic, reasonable request for someone with rolling veins and veins that hide. Instead, I was completely dismissed by two careless, unskilled female technicians who used a large thick needle and violently jabbed me twice, digging around inside my arm like I was some kind of practice dummy.
