Warning: serious caution with Med First billing and insurance handling. I went in for medically necessary testing after severe abdominal pain and multiple ER visits. The clinical care was fine, but the billing process afterward has been a nightmare. This place was so refreshing. Everyone was kind patient and helpful. My son is terrified of doctors and this place went out their way to make him feel comfortable. 10/10.
Was told by the NP that she would call in a prescription, even asked which pharmacy. Went to go pick it up and was told there wasn’t one. Tried to call, couldn’t get through. Went back to ask, receptionist checked with Dr and said that the NP directed me to take over the counter ibuprofen… that is not the conversation that was had. Was told the NP had left for the day but I could check back tomorrow.
I’m honestly beyond frustrated with this location. Every single time I’ve come here, there is no one at the front desk, and when someone is finally there, I’m not even acknowledged until another person walks up. That’s unacceptable for any medical facility. What’s even more concerning is how they advertise walk-ins, yet every time I come in, I’m told they are “booked for the day.” That makes absolutely no sense.
