Great hotel 2 miles from town center of Manitou Springs CO. Local owners, Elizabeth very nice and helpful with restaurant suggestion. Very very very clean. It truly is a motel and we loved it! We loved the two chairs on the porch to watch traffic and enjoy the night. It was a great experience. Definitely would stay there again. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The Mecca Motel is not for those who seek every motel amenity ever created. It is for those who seek clean, comfortable,and affordable lodging. The bonus is the owners are caring people, meticulous caretakers. They advised us on dining and anything else you need/want. And if that isn't enough -location- it is literally a 2 minute drive to Garden of the Gods and a couple of blocks to Manitou Springs. Do yourself a favor and book with them !
First you need to know that pretty much all places to stay in Manitou Springs are motels. The owners are very nice and welcoming and the room was very clean. If you want a fancy hotel, this is not for you. If you hike all day and just want to have a comfy and clean bed. This is the one. This motel is adults only, which I didn't mind. Close to everything and a gorgeous view of Pikes Peak!
The owners Liz and Gary are fantastic proprietors of this amazing motel. It is in a great location and walkable to restaurants, coffee and groceries. It is sparkling clean with cold air conditioning. Very quiet and safe. I would highly recommend
This is the cutest place! The owners are awesome. This is a small family run place and they take a lot of pride in it. Rooms are small, but very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Slept well. Will stay here again for sure. Lots of great restaurants near by
