Amazing doctors and employees. They are organized and have the process down to an art. Dr. John Freeman spent hours with me helping me through a complicated diagnosis. They are the best !

What an amazing group of physicians. These guys care for patients referred from miles away, treating conditions that others can’t. They provide the state of the art in refractive cataract surgery and contribute both time and resources treating eye diseases in underserved countries as well as our veterans here at home. You will never find a better group of people!

I had the best experience ever ! Everyone is so professional and sweet and pleasant all smiles every one ! My dr. Was John freeman and he is the best dr. Ever! I was almost blind when I walked in meca a hope and a prayer 🙏🏽 but I love ❤️ them the entire staff is BOMB! 20/20 vision I have now thanks to my good dr and staff ! Thank u guys soooooooooooo much !
Had LASIK done. Dr. James Freeman and all the staff are great. Highly recommend.
If their employees got to work on time, maybe the patients wouldn’t have to wait so long! Don’t schedule me at 8:00am, when the employees roll in at 8:20!
Staff needs to tell patients up front that their vision insurance will not pay for eye exams at this center. It is a medical facility, and eye exams are coded as medical procedures, not as eye exams. So vision insurance will NOT cover the cost of the exam. All the billing person would say when I called about the bill is “What do you want me to tell you, we are a medical facility, not an optometrist.” Ok so when people call to make an appointment for an eye exam, TELL them that it will be coded as a medical procedure.
Just had a vitrectomy and laser repair of three retinal tears. Dr Irvine and his crew were great. I was really nervous about the procedure but they were very calm and professional which helped me to relax. The procedure went beautifully. It would sound strange to say it was an enjoyable experience, but they made it a very easy to deal with event. I don’t give great recommendations very often, they have to really be earned. I highly recommend MECA for any eye care!
