Recommended to me by a GC (I was also very happy with) I used for some other work on my home. The first project I had them do was run a gas line for a new range, which required a fair amount of drywall work and was a little tricky. Noah came out to make repairs at my apartment, he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and took time to explain what he was repairing. While not a homeowner myself, I would highly recommend Mebane Air for any HVAC work based on my experience with them today.
Horrible experience with their “part owner” David Harris… I contacted him for a quote on an AC repair, I could smell liquor on his breath as soon as I opened my door. He made sexual advances towards me and offered to do my repairs for free if I just went and “had a drink with him”. When I firmly declined he suggested that I “lighten up and give him and chance” if my family member didn’t come home at that time I don’t know what he would’ve done to me. A police report will be filed on this predator
Mebane Air replaced our HVAC unit and did a fantastic job. David sent a great crew; every one of them was hardworking, professional, and had a great attitude. They stayed until 7:30 on a Friday night to make sure the job was finished, which really impressed us. The work was excellent, the price was very fair, and we are extremely happy with the result. Huge thanks to David Harris and his team. Highly recommend!
Furnace wasn't working properly during the frigid cold/ice. Mebane Air came to check out the furnace -- drain pipe had frozen. Told to tap on it and it would be fine. And so I did. Charge was $149.00 and change. A few days later, furnace acting up again -- drain pipe frozen (12 degrees overnight). Solid ice from top to bottom. Called MA who came back and the only thing different they did was put a piece of black insulation wrap around the pipe inside the furnace area.
