treat patients like human beings regardless their medical choices for themselves, what they look like or if you don't like them. dont give crappy care because yoo have a stick up your butt about a patient giving you information on a vaccine you knew nothing about. just treat your patients nicely regardless of anything.

In 1973 a surgeon named James D. Emerson saved me from certain death. I have tried to find the date he operated on me but to no avail. He was in Vietnam and I would like to contact him and thank him but he may have passed away by now. I will never forget his giant smile and confident demeanor. What a great man he is. I had a liver biopsy procedure, and was in the Ambulatory Care Unit for a few hours. The room (yes, private room) was beautiful, easily accessible and secure. The nurses were fabulous and made sure I was comfortable, and safe (I am disabled in a wheelchair). The phlebotomist is my favorite anywhere, and the radiology staff were friendly and efficient. This was my first visit to Mease Dunedin, and I am impressed.

I was sick for months and no-one could tell me what was wrong. Went to Countryside Mease and they didn't do anything for me. The next week I got worse and went to Dunedin Mease and they were amazing. I had to have emergency surgery and I never been admitted to a hospital overnight and was terrified. The nurses and doctor Gordon were amazing. Thank you for making me feel at ease and taking good care of me.. I was so happy I made gift baskets for my nurses that showed great service. Thank you again.
