As a veteran I now receive VA care however, before VA care I had to go to this hospital two times. On two visits they misdiagnosed a STEMI which is a Myocardial Infarction and on another was clueless as to the difference between a heart attack and a panic attack. ER staff is simply ill-equipped to know how to handle patient emergencies. The physicians groups that St. Joe's contracts with offer inferior physicians. Being plagued with repetitive UTI's I've primarily depended on BayCare Urgent Care (So Tampa) to prescribe appropriate medications several years. Care is very good, including follow up patient phone call. Recently Medical Assistant Neisha's care was excellent, going the extra mile. Front Desk Katlyn is very helpful, providing useful tips, quickly forwarding pertinent details to my Urologist. Appreciate your assistance. Linda Garston

Be aware! If you don't have covid symptoms - stay away from this place as it's filled with both covid sick and not sick people in one small cramped space (one door/in-out). There is a high risk to get covid just by visiting this place. I rarely write bad reviews unless I believe I can help others to avoid bad experience. I felt obligated to tell people so they are aware. I took my husband who was sick with covid for over a week. I had an appointment today for my son at the imaging center took time off from work. I made the appointment over 2 weeks ago no one got authorization/approval for the procedure from my insurance which is THEIR job. Then they wanted me to pay them $2,000 for a procedure that cost less than $1,000 and is fully covered by my insurance. No one cares about my son's health nor that I need to keep the job that provides the health coverage for these services. This is laziness and greed at it's finest.

I want to highlight the professional excellence of nurses Jessika and Lenisley and physicians Hussain and Melissa, at BayCare Wound Care. The attention I received was wonderful and unforgettable, after undergoing an unnecessarily painful and traumatic experience at a different clinic. I greatly appreciated the staff's kindness, thoughtfulness, and empathy in providing treatment and answering all my questions and concerns. They honor and dignify their work as medical professionals.

I want to thank the awesome doctors and nurses who take care of my fiance' Erin. She was admitted to Dunedin Mease in December 2020 due to pain from her terminal cancer. She was in the hospital on her birthday and Doctors and Nurses brought her balloons and cupcakes and celebrated what turned out to be her last birthday with us. This was a very special moment for us she succumbed to her illness on January 24th 2021 after a heroic battle. Thank you Dunedin Mease Heroes! Sincerely Michael Moschilli
