The first infectious disease doctor we saw there, Dr G, warned that our daughter should not have more antibiotics as she had been on them for weeks since sustaining a severe TBI and other injuries. If you are looking at reviews you've probably had bad experiences elsewhere - this place is the answer to your problems. They freaking rock!!! They take great care and don't rush. Never thought giving blood could be a pleasant experience.
1st time with Jesse. Crude, loud, rough, argumentative. I'll request another tech from now on because that lady makes me very uncomfortable. The other techs have all been very kind to me.
The specialists, nurses and therapists are amazing. They kept us informed of all that was going on. The only reason it is not a five is because of the house doctors. Though both were nice, it was obvious they wanted my mom out even when advised by those that worked with her on a daily basis, that a few more days would be very benefical to her recovery. I recall completing the survey last week, however here is: 1.Business office/pre-op staff not equipped to make copies of all the consent forms I had to sign several. 2. "For safety" procedures are out of touch with reality. I was asked my name /DOB by several (at least 4 staff members) even though I WAS IN THE SAME PLACE ON THE SAME BED IN FRONT OF THE SAME NURSES STATION. My wife was admitted through the ER who did call and told me that the admitting team would call to tell me where her room was. I NEVER had a call from them for three days. My wife located a phone and called me. SO I went to see her and found she couldn't eat lunch because there was no one to help to cut her cold food. I did help her the next day at lunch but her breakfast was cold and she could not eat. (Her right arm is in rehab and not functioning.)
