St. Anthony's is a dangerous place. I've been an RN for 35 yrs. I would die before being admitted to this hospital. They are always short staffed. I got a call from the nurses asking if I could come sit with a family member. I'd done this many times before I went into the lobby and the security guard took my keys and refused to give them back. If it wasn't for the fact that i have a condition which requires medication maintenance, i wouldn't need a PCP. Since moving to FL 5 years ago, i am happy to say i have finally found a practice and Dr. who actually show respect, kindness, are informative and listen. When my current PCP kept having a revolving door of providers, rescheduled appointments at the last minute and just continued to show and overall lack of care, i sought out a new provider and found Baycare Medical Group in Largo and Dr. Mamo. Check in nurse was rude I waited 3 hours checked on my status she said she didn’t know how much longer. When I arrived there was very few people waiting. Piss poor service

I received a call today (Thursday) for an appointment tomorrow. The person on the phone said the doctor won't be in the office and to call to reschedule when I can. I asked her if I could reschedule now. She hung up. Rude. I don't understand why they didn't know the doctor wouldn't be in on this date when booking my appointment weeks ago. Worst hospital experience ever. Me 60yo male, chest pain and lefft arm numb, went in emergency room. What I thought was going to be an amazing experience turned out to be my worst nightmare. I sat in the waiting room for 4 and a half hours . At hour 3 I asked if I could go to the parking lot and call an ambulance to be seen, I was told it wont help. I just seen Mr. Gabriel for the first time today! 7/18/24 and that was the fastest Docters appointment I had in my life! he did not listen to a word I said and kept interrupting me when I was telling him my symptoms. His assistant actually was more helpful than him. Also, he admitted that he did not get a chance to actually look at my M.R.I which he states he just read the report. He claims that the report says I am fine. The report actually says there is Dextroscoliosis and Levoscoliosis which is combined scoliosis. Also, t... read more

I needed a new primary doctor as my insurance provider changed. I called Baycare and was referred to Dr Von Harten. I am on a high deductible plan and get one physical per year. I called and scheduled it and was told no problem. After the visit they coded the visit as something different from a physical and I had to pay $277 to see the doctor for 10 minutes. Nothing besides my blood pressure was performed. I complained and the office said to bad. Stay away from Baycare doctors. They do not care about patients only... read more
