took a little ride Sunday with the new seat from Mean City Cycles. I was very pleased as was my wife with the ride. You see the bumps and hit them but not really feeling them or very little. We could see by our silhouette that my wife sat quite a bit higher than me, and I didn't feel her squirming around like she normally does. I had my passenger seat redone on my Yamaha raider to make things more comfortable for my girlfriend. First of all, Mean City has to be the most professional and customer oriented business I have met. Turn around time was amazing, and Lori was kind enough to assist me with what I would like to do in the future on a custom seat cover. Had my HD Ultra seat reworked by Mean City Yesterday. It was raining so we had to throw the seat in the car but I finally had a chance today to take it for extended ride and let me tell you... It is night and day. Much better then the factory configuration and supposedly still needs to break in. Stock i was having severe tail bone pain and discomfort after about 45 minutes. Rode for over an hour today and not the first hint of discomfort. Can't wait to take it on a real day ride but I have no doubts it will work flawlessly. ... read more
Great service, seat is perfect, and it got back to me even faster than they said they would. Still breaking it in, but extremely happy with it.
I had my stock Electra Glide pillow seat narrowed, moved back and down, and memory foam added. Turnaround was right on time. Put 1400 miles on it this weekend. Felt as good when I pulled in my driveway as when I left. Worth every penny. Thank you!
