hip but informal and home-cooked breakfast – This family-run breakfast (and lunch) joint is informal and bustling but courteous staff and pleasant atmosphere. Standard breakfast fare, tasty and with a homemade touch. Coffee (self-serve refills) is good and I love the blueberry pancakes!

Great food & value too! – Open only for breakfast & lunch Wed-Sun, Meal Ticket, although working from a smallish menu, manages to consistently produce simple yet well prepared and tasty meals. Breakfast specials can include such classics as steak and eggs, pork loin & eggs, salmon & eggs, trout & eggs and occasional special omlets ( don't miss pesto or green eggs and ham omlett if available). All items are made from scratch with fresh ingredients. A... read more

Where else can you get an affordable meal caringly cooked by an English former Olympic swimming medalist. The eggs with trout and salsa is a breakfast winner. Pancakes have been mentioned by others. He does a great job with pork chops too. Curry chicken salad's a winner. Meal Ticket, despite its quality, somehow avoids the pressured feeling of most weekend breakfast venues. The mood is laid-back, just right. ... read more
