plumbing nightmare My wife and I had been searching the entire town for an old faucet stem. The man behind the counter was very knowledgable and friendly. We were in and out before I knew it. With the price of gas now, price was not a factor. Great store!! PROS: experienced staff, friendly service CONS:
Meads Hardware We would normally not shop at this hardware store, but if you are looking for something that you cannot find anywhere else, they probably will have it. The prices are high, but it is a matter of finding what you need when you need it. They have a great selection. They are not the most convenient store to get to, and be prepared for ridiculous prices.
just around the corner A friend was building me a wheelchair ramp and ran out of screws, so instead of me having to go 5 miles to the home center I went just around the corner to Meads Hardware and was able to pick up everything that was needed to finish the wheelchair ramp. They have just about anything you may need for any project. yes your going to pay alittle more for what you need but in the end your saving on gas.
Helpful They make keys here. I like this store because the people are patient and helpful. They are very nice about answering questions. I also like it because you don't need a map and hiking boots to get around the place. They specialize in hard to find plumbing fittings. On Lake Mead Blvd. one block East of Lamb. Hours are 8-6 Mon-Sat. and 8-4 on Sunday PROS: KEYS MADE HERE CONS:

This is a great store and great people work there! Very friendly ! You can find anything you want. Plus -water and snacks! Good job!
The parts you need! – After driving to 5 "big box" stores looking for a special plumbing part for a 20 yr old house,, I tryed Meads as a last resort. The man behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly and of course they had what I needed! was in and out in 10 min!! I will definately stop there first next time.
Best Hardware store in town. – This place has everything you will ever need for home repairs from mobile home gas flex connectors to muffler bolts. If by some rare chance they don't have it, they can order it or tell you where to go find it. Their staff knows what a thing-a-muh-jig is and exactly what type of doo-hickey you will need to fix your sink. Save tons of money here by doing it yourself. If you think they are too expensive you are probably too stupid to do it yourself and should contact a licensed contractor
