I just left yesterday and please I beg you do not allow anyone to send you there. I was admitted for panic attacks and not only are they worse but I also have PTSD now from being there. I could go on for daysssss about the shit that went on but here’s the one that will always stick with me. My dr (who btw spoke to me for 3 total minutes in the 5 days I was there) told me to work on myself while there and I said howww, there’s zero groups run here, all we do is eat, get meds and stare at a wall. Meadowood is a terrible place to end up due to it being a pump and dump facility. However, I wanted to give a shout-out to how kind every staff member was who I interacted with. Their jobs are extremely difficult, but they still manage to stay friendly through it all. One staff member that was especially great was Miss Pam the 2nd shift receptionist. She was so kind and understanding when my brother was brought here after being missing for 18 hours.

Honestly, no place is going to work until you’re fully ready. With that being said, this place completely changed my life. I’ve been using for over 6 years, been to multiple places & never stuck with it. Until I came here, I was actually ready this time & that made all the difference. I almost have a month clean, & I just wanted to thank everyone here that helped me & believed in me. Worse place for inpatient, never gave my stuff while I was there no matter how many time I asked and I left and nobody knew where it was…
