The worst tenants are generally the biggest complainers, and the most recent review from Austin is a prime example. We had to gut the place after this guy moved out. We could've made a sweater out of the doghair he left behind. Almost none of his assertions of maintenance issues were true. His dogs were not bad until other tenants started seeing that his wife never picked up after the dog, and other people had to clean up the mess so kids could play freely. They sent us videos of this happening, so no deniability here!
I can not believe some of these reviews because it's definitely not been my experience here. First of all I am a very good judge of character and the owner has been nothing but KIND to me in the 13 months I have lived here. The apartment was completely remodeled with new appliances and when I did have a leak from my dishwasher I contacted the office and it was taken care of same day. I moved in September of 2023 first night in the apartment the ac was not working instead of having someone come fix it the next day, I went without ac for three months they brought a little portable ac to last us through out this period (picture below). I had two dogs that were approved through the landlord before moving in and paid a 500 dollar pet deposit. December 23rd 2 days before Christmas the landlord left a eviction notice on the door stating that my dogs were to big and we had 30 days to be gone. I called the office... read more
Wouldn’t recommend this complex or company to anyone. Unfortunately my mother passed away in one of the apartments on September 27th. The only response from the office manager was asking if I could pay her rent for October, only a few hours after her death. We were rushed to remove all of her belongings from her home. Bad business, bad people. If I could leave less than one star I would. Do not rent from The Meadows.
the owner is both soulless and spineless. my mother in law died here in september and merely 3 hours after discovering she had passed, the landlord says “well she didn’t pay rent for october yet. if you have her checkbook we can go ahead and take care of that.” sir, did you forget she DIED? so of course after declining his request, he says “that’s okay, i’ll just keep her security deposit.” severe lack of morality, conscience, and awareness. please take your business elsewhere.
