I’m concerned that this clinic is relying on psych patients to inform them that they’re derelict with federal regulations. For example, in 2022 I had to inform them of concerns that they were using a Notice of Privacy Practices that was drafted in 2003. One of about fifty problems with that is the fact that in 2013, the HITECH ACT generated many new updates and “New requirements for the HIPAA notice of privacy practices”. Ask for a cost breakdown before seeing anyone at this establishment. My insurance wasn’t ran for over a month and the therapist was insistent I saw her every week. The bill I got was astronomical. Each appointment was $300-$400 WITH INSURANCE. Absolutely insane. There was a clerical issue with my insurance and when I tried to explain that to them they were less than helpful. Dr's are great here and have no problems with them. There seems to never be anyone to answer the phones, ever, and doing everything remote/via phone is not working out
