I lived in this building for over two years, and it was by far one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had. The Building Superintendent was unprofessional, discriminatory, and consistently ignored tenants' complaints. The apartment had a serious and ongoing insect infestation, and the common areas constantly smelled of garbage because the issue was never properly addressed. The maintenance supervisors and the new property manager were always responsive and helpful whenever we reported issues. We lived in a one-bedroom unit for two years, and met our needs. I also want to give credit to the new property manager for making noticeable improvements to the building. They installed security cameras in the mailroom and added fob-access doors to both the mailroom and the laundry area—improvements that the previous property manager was unable to implement. Its an older building yes but management is great, anytime theres an issue with the apartment like the sink is clogged or toilet isnt working, they will come and fix it within the day, even within the hour. There's no roaches or mice or anything to be worried about the only real complaint i have is the air quality, it can get dusty very fast, nothing an air purifier cant fix though, and the water tastes a bit funny but we just use a brita.
