We checked in staff was nice. Going to our room that was $237.00 there was a empty case box that there toliet tissue came in. It was there the whole time until I told them 24 hrs later. Great little Inn Try one of the deluxe rooms, some have jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces, well worth the upgrade. Furnishings are lovely and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. Especially would recommend for small conference as the guest services will knock themselves out for you. Be prepared to pay more than for a chain motel, but it is worth it.
Rude manager While the rooms are nice, the bed was dirty, we weren't in the room we were supposed to be in, and the manager was downright rude about it! At $150+ per night, I expect better!! Their indoor pool is very nice, however.
Lovely Stay This is a BEAUTIFUL INN in a beautiful town!! The rooms are superb! It is walking distance to the main stretch of blowing rock. You really don't even need a car for this little vacation. Spend your days strolling a quiet little town, and you nights in this lovely Inn. It CAN be a bit pricey sometimes, but I think it is well worth the price.
heaven on earth The Meadowbrook , a great place to get away from "it all ' if you are looking for gold plated faucetts or a butler , not for you , but if you want to stay at a comfortable , clean , get a way in the beautiful blue ridge mountains, in a beautiful little mountain town with no worries , take a walk in historic downtown Blowing Rock , visit the numerous old shops, just get away , this is for you , the employees are great , take your little ones outside and feed the ducks, watch the sun set , a fire in the firepla... read more
Meadowbrook Inn Last year (2006) we took a mountain trip during peak season. This hotel was very nice; we were able to negotiate a better price. The staff was friendly and accommodating
