Mold grows extremely fast out of nowhere, we even had it in our toilet bowls and on our windows. In the summer, the apartment stays wet which is probably why the mold grows so fast. We thought it could be an isolated problem but we read the lease and it specifically says not to complain about mold problems. It’s obviously been a problem for them in the past.
