I would recommend going here for car issues 10/10. The service is WONDERFUL. Pops attended to me quickly and gave me a lot of great advice about a few questions that I had. Fast service in the bay. I have never felt like a mechanic cared about my worries outside of what they were getting paid for but Pops was curious, helpful and even did a little research to narrow down possibilities about the issue my car was having. Good prices, clean lobby. It was a great experience.

Highly recommend. After a not-so-great experience another shop in town, I came here on a recommendation. "Pops" is the best- he so nice, communicative, and his mechanics are top notch. Totally reasonable, honest, and great service. I won't be taking my car anywhere else!
I've been using M.E. Gene Johnson Garage for both my primary vehicles for the past few years. The owner / operator (Pops) is one of the best I've ever experienced when it comes to customer service and knowledge / vehicle diagnostics. His guys know what they're doing and the price is always reasonable. Honest and straightforward!
Took my ‘22 Nissan Altima in for diagnostics, AC quit working. Quoted me $750 to replace motor blower/resistor block, requiring a full day of my car in the shop. Turns out it was a blown fuse, fixed in 1 hour at a different local mechanic for fraction of the price. Pops in the office was great! I question the honesty of the 2 guys running tests in the shop.
