We just visited Bar Harbor for the first time and our son had his first ever allergic reaction to something he ate. Everyone in the ER that night was personable, kind, and very helpful. They had our son feeling better quickly and we didn’t have to wait at all to be seen. When you’re so far away from home and have a scary emergency like this, it means the world to have such caring people at a time like this. Thank you so much for everything you did for us.
Husband rolled his ankle while hiking. Staff here were fantastic. He was seen quickly, whisked off to x-ray and Charles Reimers, PA was thorough in explaining everything. Off we went with a new boot, disc of his x-rays, instructions on care and pain management. We were in and out quickly and very impressed with the care he received.
My partner was admitted here for extreme abdominal pain. We are talking pain to the point of nearly fainting. We now know this was caused by the rupture of an ovarian cyst— which anyone who knows anything about woman’s health would know from her symptoms. The nurses attempted to take a blood sample, but gave up -after they couldn’t find a vain.
