New construction home built in 2013. Floor has numerous gaps in boards, and boards are not tight to the subfloor and flex up and down. I hired an independent flooring inspector to determine the cause of the issues. It was determined by the inspector my issues were due to excessive moisture in the sub floor during installation and improper nail pattern per manufacturer specifications, and or improper acclamation of hardwood.
