On Wednesday November 12, 2025, my friend had an appointment with Dr Huq, she’s disabled & a ride from the office was confirmed by Jessica the day before for 8am. At 745am, I called her to wait for her ride, im in ny & she has nobody to help her, as 8am her ride wasn’t there, for the 3rd time! Dr.Huq in my case is a god send. Caring, attentive, concerned is one of few physicians I trust implicitly.Answers my questions in detail and in the time I need. Respects my feelings and concerns about procedures or surgery then explains the pros and cons. In the end I am grateful for having stepped into his office.Office staff have been like family to boot! His appts are the ones I enjoy going to no matter the reason.
I have been using Dr. Huq since my insurance changed more than 10 years ago and my primary did not accept Aetna. Dr. Huq was recommended to me many moons ago by another physician who was a pediatrician serving on the credentialing committee for one of the hospitals. I have recommended Dr. Huq to family members since and appreciate the the office deals with whatever insurance I end up with. It has been Florida Blue coverage of one kind or another for several years now .
They don't take Florida Blue but didn't tell my wife until she showed up for the appointment. Great job office people. Idiots!
This doctor took a life of my dearest person in the world! He went over my head, I was POA and Medical Surrogate, he purposely ODd her with a lethal cocktail in her IV! He ignored totally my position and took her life behind my back! He destroyed her and destroyed my life also. He should be in prison for ever!
We feel he totally lacking in understanding and compassion.
I recently changed my Doctor of 5+ years because he was too busy and just rushed through the visit or felt your symptoms were not valid. Dr. Huq is an Excellent physician WHO CARES!!! about his patients. He takes his time with you, listens to all you have to say and makes sure when you leave you know what's wrong and what to do. There follow-up is outstanding they call to follow-up and see how your doing both the Doctor and staff. This is THE TOTAL BEST physician I have ever experienced. He listens, he answers your questions, he respects you he does not just write a prescription, he gives you healthy life style information. His staff carries the same respect, smiles and attitude.
