Feels like a wase of healthcare dollars. Very vague in terms of what to do. I am celiac and was concerned about all the keto type bars and products they recommend as they aren't gluten free. All the Dr said was you don't need to eat them, but that is half of the outlined plan!. All they are monitoring is my blood pressure and weight while telling me to eat low/no carb. I am so happy that my doctor referred this clinic to me. It is covered under OHIP and your doctor, I believe has to refer you. So far the process is great, they take measurements and weight. There are 3 phases and you follow a low carb, higher protein plan. So far, I recommend it.

Purposely vague to rob our health care resources. I was referred through my doctor because I met the basic criteria. When they called to book my appointment I inquired as to what they would actually do for me. When I repeatedly asked in various ways, "What would treatment look like", "What type of tests/treatments do you offer?"... the receptionist just kept repeating, "I measure you and then you talk to the doctor."
